With you Sadaqah donation we want to help communities in the long term, building homes, water wells and schools.
Sadaqah Jariyah is the act of voluntary ongoing charity and is one of the easiest ways to help those in need around the world. We rely on the kindness and generosity of our donors to ensure that these individuals are supported on both a short-term and long-term basis.
Unlike Zakat, Sadaqah has no set amount. You can give anything that you are financially capable of. The decision about how much to give is left to the individual. Abubakr (ra) used to give everything he had, leaving Allah and his messenger to provide for his family whereas Umar Al Khattab (ra) gave half of what he had.
Islamic Appeal will ensure donations are most frequently used to supply emergency food, water, shelter and medical aid to those affected by natural disaster and conflict. Sadaqah donations can be given at any time of year and significantly improve the lives of the impoverished and disadvantaged.
